Webinar Internship PT Teknologi Usaha Nusantara (Broom.id) x CDC UI

Pada hari Senin, 3 Oktober 2022 Broom.id bersama dengan CDC UI mengadakan webinar internship yang mengusung tema “How to Start or Shift Your Career into Product Management”. Webinar ini diselenggarakan secara online dengan zoom dan dihadiri oleh 56 partisipan yang merupakan mahasiswa dan juga fresh graduate. Tujuan dari webinar ini adalah untuk memberikan penjelasan terkait cara-cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk menjadi seorang product manager serta menginformasikan lowongan magang yang akan dibuka oleh Broom.id.

Acara dimulai pada pukul 15.30 dan diawali dengan pemberian sambutan oleh Prof. Dr. drg. Sandra Fikawati, MPH, yaitu Kepala Career Development Center (CDC UI). Prof Fika juga menjelaskan secara singkat seputar CDC UI dan Kampus Merdeka, Merdeka Belajar. 

Setelah itu dilanjutkan pemaparan materi oleh pihak Broom.id. Materi pertama adalah mengenai pengenalan perusahaan Broom.id, termasuk aplikasi Broom.id itu sendiri, perjalanan dari awal didirikannya Broom.id, serta orang-orang yang berperan dalam Broom.id. Materi ini disampaikan oleh Kak Idham M. Husein selaku Marketing Manager Broom.id.

Kemudian, materi kedua disampaikan oleh Kak Ahmad Faris Arifin selaku Head of Product Broom.id dan Kak Edo Soroinda Nasution selaku Product Manager Broom.id. Di materi kedua, pembicara membahas lebih dalam mengenai product management, termasuk peran dari product manager, jenjang-jenjang karier product management, serta kemampuan yang dibutuhkan, tahapan untuk memulai karier, dan kehidupan sehari-hari sebagai product manager.

Webinar ditutup dengan sesi tanya jawab seputar product management. Para peserta antusias untuk memberikan pertanyaan. Kak Faris dan Kak Edo menjawab semua pertanyaan dengan jelas dan komprehensif. Sebelum diakhiri, MC mengumumkan adanya pemberian hadiah untuk peserta yang aktif bertanya sebagai bentuk apresiasi dari Broom.id. Webinar ini sangat insightful dan menambah wawasan terkait product management dan dibawakan dengan cara yang menarik sehingga peserta antusias untuk menggali lebih dalam mengenai product management tersebut.

On Monday, October 3, 2022, Broom.id and CDC UI hosted an internship webinar titled “How to Start or Shift Your Career into Product Management”. This webinar was held online via Zoom and was attended by 56 students and fresh graduates. The aim of this webinar is to explain how to become a product manager and to inform participants about internship opportunities at Broom.id.
 
The event began with a speech by Prof. Dr. Drg. Sandra Fikawati, MPH, Head of the Career Development Center (CDC UI). Prof. Fika also delivered a brief overview of CDC UI and the Kampus Merdeka, Merdeka Belajar. Following that, Kak Idham M. Husein as a Marketing Manager at Broom.id continued to present the introduction to the Broom.id company, including the application itself, the journey of Broom.id, and the people who play a role in Broom.id.
 
After that, Kak Ahmad Faris Arifin as a Head of Product and Kak Edo Soroinda Nasution as a Product Manager delivered the second topic. It’s about the greater details of product management, including the product manager’s role, career ladder at product management, the way to shift career into product management, and daily life of a product manager.
 
The webinar was closed with a question and answer session about product management. The participants were enthusiastic to ask questions. Kak Faris and Kak Edo provided clear and comprehensive answers to all questions. efore concluding, the MC announced that there would be prizes for participants who actively asked questions as a form of appreciation from Broom.id. This webinar was very insightful and was delivered in an interesting way so that participants were enthusiastic to dig deeper into the product management.
