Seminar In-Person Info Session McKinsey Indonesia

Pada 11 April 2025 telah dilaksanakan In-Person Info Session McKinsey Indonesia bersama dengan Direktorat Alumni dan Dana Abadi (DADI) UI dan Career Development Center (CDC) FEB UI di Auditorium R. Soeria Atmadja FEB UI pada pukul 09.00-11.30 WIB dengan 353 pendaftar. Seminar ini diselenggarakan untuk memperkenalkan perusahaan McKinsey kepada mahasiswa UI dan menjelaskan mengenai detail dari Career Program yang dimiliki oleh McKinsey Indonesia.

On April 11, 2025, an In-Person Info Session with McKinsey Indonesia was held in collaboration with the Directorate of Alumni and Endowment Fund (DADI) UI and the Career Development Center (CDC) of FEB UI. The event took place at the R. Soeria Atmadja Auditorium, FEB UI, from 09:00 to 11:30 AM WIB, with 353 registrants. This seminar was organized to introduce McKinsey to UI students and provide detailed information about the career programs offered by McKinsey Indonesia.

Kegiatan seminar dibawakan oleh MC dari McKinsey, yaitu Mbak Nabila Putri selaku Talent Acquisition dan Mbak Nadia Mudayana selaku Talent Acquisition. Seminar dimulai dengan sambutan oleh Ibu Dr. Irfani Fithria Ummul Muzayanah selaku Kepala Kantor Kemahasiswaan dan Alumni FEB UI. Kemudian diikuti dengan pembukaan dari pihak McKinsey, yaitu Bapak Kevin Wibowo selaku Associate Partner McKinsey & Company. Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pengenalan terkait company profile McKinsey oleh Mbak Latasha Desideria selaku Associate McKinsey & Partner.

The seminar was hosted by MCs from McKinsey, Ms. Nabila Putri and Ms. Nadia Mudayana, both serving as Talent Acquisition representatives. The event began with welcoming remarks by Dr. Irfani Fithria Ummul Muzayanah, Head of Student Affairs Faculty of Economic and Business UI. This was followed by an opening speech from Mr. Kevin Wibowo, Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company. The session then continued with an introduction to McKinsey’s company profile, delivered by Ms. Latasha Desideria, Associate at McKinsey & Company.

Sesi selanjutnya adalah talkshow bersama dengan panelis dari McKinsey, yaitu Mas Jason Sanjoto selaku Associate McKinsey & Company, Mbak Maura Alexandrina selaku Senior Business Analyst McKinsey & Company, Mas Hanif Permana selaku Business Analyst McKinsey & Company, dan Mbak Felisitas Agustinus selaku Business Analyst McKinsey Indonesia. Talkshow ini dibawakan oleh moderator dari McKinsey, yaitu Mbak Latasha Desideria dan membahas mengenai topik “From Campus to Career: Setting Yourself Up for Success”. Pada sesi talkshow ini membahas tentang bagaimana memulai karier di dunia konsultan, khususnya McKinsey, serta sharing dari para panelis mengenai berkarier di McKinsey.

The next session was a talk show featuring panelists from McKinsey, including Mr. Jason Sanjoto (Associate, McKinsey & Company), Ms. Maura Alexandrina (Senior Business Analyst, McKinsey & Company), Mr. Hanif Permana (Business Analyst, McKinsey & Company), and Ms. Felisitas Agustinus (Business Analyst, McKinsey Indonesia). The talk show was moderated by Ms. Latasha Desideria and centered around the theme “From Campus to Career: Setting Yourself Up for Success.” This session discussed how to start a career in the consulting industry, particularly at McKinsey, and included personal insights and experiences from the panelists about working at McKinsey.

Setelah itu, peserta diberi kesempatan untuk memberikan pertanyaan kepada pihak McKinsey serta berdiskusi bersama.

After that, participants were given the opportunity to ask questions to the McKinsey team and engage in a discussion.

Sesi selanjutnya, salah satu mata acara pada Info Session ini, yaitu Case Immersion dilaksanakan. Para peserta diarahkan untuk mengamati reka adegan interview yang dicontohkan oleh Mbak Maura selaku Interviewer dan Mas Jason selaku Interviewee. Peserta diminta untuk memberikan pendapatnya mengenai reka adegan tersebut. Kemudian Case Immersion dilanjutkan dengan ditunjukkan pada layar mengenai case dan peserta diminta untuk berpartisipasi memberikan pendapat mengenai case tersebut.

The next session, one of the key segments of the Info Session, was the Case Immersion. Participants were guided to observe a mock interview scenario demonstrated by Ms. Maura as the Interviewer and Mr. Jason as the Interviewee. Attendees were then invited to share their thoughts and feedback on the scenario. The Case Immersion continued with a case study presented on the screen, where participants were encouraged to actively engage and share their opinions and insights regarding the case.

Sebelum kegiatan diakhiri, Mbak Nabila selaku tim Talent Acquisition dari McKinsey memberikan informasi mengenai peluang career di McKinsey dan bagaimana jika peserta ingin bergabung dengan McKinsey. Acara diakhiri dengan berfoto Bersama dengan semua pihak dan sesi networking bagi peserta yang ingin bertanya dan mengobrol langsung dengan tim McKinsey.

Before the event concluded, Ms. Nabila from McKinsey’s Talent Acquisition team provided information about career opportunities at McKinsey and explained the process for those interested in joining the company. The event ended with a group photo session with all parties, followed by a networking session where participants had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in direct conversations with the McKinsey team.
