Indonesian Language Localization Specialist

Job Description

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for the localization of various Moonton projects into Bahasa Indonesia, ensuring the high-quality delivery of localized content.
• Monitor online and community feedback, and address issues related to Bahasa Indonesia localization by providing solutions based on an understanding of local culture.
• Assist in managing Bahasa Indonesia localization assets, such as style guides and term bases, ensuring continuous updates and the optimization of these linguistic assets.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or above, native Indonesian language speaker, with excellent fluency in English.
• Professional working proficiency in Mandarin Language is required.
• Demonstrated understanding of Indonesian cultural practices, including local customs, traditions, and societal norms.
• Well-versed in the local gaming industry, culture, and community.
• 1 year or more of game localization translation experience, with a strong language foundation, capable of accurately expressing complex concepts and emotions.
• Proficient in using CAT tools (such as Trados, SmartCat, Phrase, etc.) and various common office software (such as Excel, Word, etc.), with strong information retrieval skills.
• Adaptability to new challenges, proactive learning, and effective self-management skills, with the ability to work independently and address issues as they arise.
• Experience in the gaming industry is preferred, with active participation in any Moonton game considered a plus.
