Job Description

Main duties and responsibilities:

  1. Check and control the engineering deliverables to meet schedule and contract;
  2. Perform interdisciplinary engineering
  3. Perform Engineering support to Procurement;
  4. Maintain all work performance in accordance with the Quality Management System as the first checker;
  5. Identify and prepare supporting data of change order;
  6. Perform engineering for Proposal preparation when assigned as the Proposal Lead Engineer;
  7. Guide the engineers, junior engineers, and drafting team in their day-to-day work;
  8. Continue to learn, remain current, and apply independent knowledge and interpretation about departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and policies, and procedures relative to assigned tasks;
  9. Perform Engineering support to Construction;
  10. Provide engineering support related to QA/QC, such as inspection, factory acceptance test, certification, etc.

 

Requirements:

  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree (S1) of Chemical Engineering;
  • Min 3-15 years of experience having worked in an EPC company for upstream & downstream oil & gas projects;
  • Have capabilities to develop conceptual design, simulation, PFD, and PID;
  • Have experience of attending, reviewing, and closing HAZOP and HAZID of oil & gas engineering /EPC projects either upstream or downstream;
  • Have experience in performing equipment sizing and critical instrument sizing, i.e. PSV and control valve;
  • Have experience of evaluating FERA, QRA, and SIL studies;
  • Have experience of performing the fire fighting system design and engineering;
  • Have an excellent knowledge of current;
  • Have experience performing Process simulation for at least an oil & gas engineering/EPC projects, either upstream or downstream;
  • Have an excellent knowledge of current internationally recognized Codes and Standards (NFPA, OSHA guidelines) and local regulations;
  • Must have had demonstrable experience with developing Safety Engineering Deliverables related to Escape Route Layouts, Firewater Calculations and P & IDs, Fire and Gas Drawings, Hazardous Area, Noise Specification, and Flare Radiation;
  • Must have proven exposure and hands-on experience in participating/performing third-party safety studies and workshops, including HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, SIL Classifications, ALARP assessments, RAM studies, Fire and Gas Mappings, Noise Studies, Fire and Explosion Risk Analysis (FERA), Thermal Radiation, Gas Dispersion and Plume Study, Emergency System Survivability Analysis (ESSA), Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA) Study.
