PT Patra Niaga was launched in 2004, as an entity focusing on downstream oil and gas business, after previously being registered as PT Elnusa Harapan in 1997. In 2011, PT Pertamina (Persero) began to harmonize all logos of its subsidiaries through the Directorate of Marketing and Trade of Pertamina. The Directorate began to rename each subsidiary’s logo including the PT Patra Niaga logo and changed the company’s name to PT Pertamina Patra Niaga. The new logo reflects the dedication of all Patra Niaga workforce to continue to grow and develop towards excellence. Meanwhile, the new company name, Pertamina Patra Niaga, is a combination of Pertamina and Patra Niaga that represents two priorities that Patra Niaga’s business partners have always demanded, which demands Patra Niaga to have more flexible and better services, on top of the more competitive prices offered to reflect Patra Niaga’s brand equity. We believe that the new logo can help strengthen consumer and business partner trust.

On June 13, 2020, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has been appointed as Sub Holding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina (Persero) virtually, and officially legal end-state on September 1, 2021. In addition to managing Pertamina Patra Niaga’s existing business and operations in the form of trading and fuel handling, as well as fleet and depot management, now Sub Holding Commercial & Trading is in charge of running Pertamina’s downstream business activity chain.

Pertamina already has adequate infrastructure to support the distribution and marketing of the energy products it produces, including Fuel Oil (BBM), lubricants, and LPG products as well as asphalt and petrochemical products, both to meet the needs of retail and corporate consumers throughout the country and abroad. Pertamina Patra Niaga, Sub Holding Commercial & Trading, now oversees other Pertamina subsidiaries and grandchildren, namely PT Pertamina Lubricants, PT Pertamina Retail, Pertamina International Marketing & Distribution Pte Ltd, PT Patra Trading, PT Patra Badak Arun Solusi, PT Patra Logistik, PT Pertamina Petrochemical Trading, Pertamina Internationa Timor SA, and PT Patra SK.
