Company Visit PT Paragon Technology and Innovation CDC UI x BEM FISIP UI
Career Development Center Universitas Indonesia (CDC-UI) bersama dengan BEM FISIP UI telah melaksanakan kegiatan Company Visit ke perusahaan PT Paragon Technology and Innovation secara luring atau offline dan diselenggarakan di kantor Paragon 3, Jl. Kp. Baru IV No.4 Ulujami, Pesanggrahan, Jakarta Selatan, 12250.
Company Visit ini dilaksanakan pada hari Senin, 18 Desember 2023 mulai pukul 08.00-12.00 WIB. Kegiatan ini diperuntukkan khususnya mahasiswa UI yang ingin mengetahui lebih lanjut mengenai PT Paragon dan ingin mengetahui peluang karier di perusahaan FMCG khususnya bidang kosmetik. Company Visit merupakan salah satu program milik CDC-UI yang bertujuan untuk mengenalkan mahasiswa kepada dunia kerja. Company Visit memungkinkan mahasiwa untuk melihat langsung situasi nyata sistem kerja di suatu perusahaan yang nantinya dapat dijadikan inspirasi dalam mengambil langkah untuk mengembangkan karier.
The Career Development Center at the University of Indonesia (CDC-UI), in collaboration with the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at UI (BEM FISIP UI), has successfully conducted a Company Visit to PT Paragon Technology and Innovation. The event took place offline at Paragon 3 office, located at Jl. Kp. Baru IV No.4 Ulujami, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, 12250.
This Company Visit occurred on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 08:00 to 12:00 WIB. The activity was specifically designed for UI students who wished to gain deeper insights into PT Paragon and explore career opportunities in the FMCG sector, particularly in the field of cosmetics. Company Visit is one of CDC-UI’s programs aimed at introducing students to the professional world. It allows students to observe firsthand the actual work environment of a company, providing inspiration for career development.
Kegiatan ini dibawakan oleh MC dari PT Paragon, yaitu Mbak Vi selaku Employer Branding Team. Acara diawali dengan pembukaan oleh MC kemudian pemberian sambutan oleh Ketua BEM FISIP UI. Setelah sambutan dari pihak UI, dilanjutkan dengan perkenalan dari pihak Paragon yaitu oleh Mbak Cilla selaku Employer Branding Executive.
This activity was hosted by the Master of Ceremonies (MC) from PT Paragon, namely Ms. Vi, who is a part of the Employer Branding Team. The event began with the opening remarks by the MC, followed by a welcome speech from the Chairperson of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at UI (BEM FISIP UI). After the UI representative’s address, the session continued with an introduction from the Paragon team, presented by Ms. Cilla, who serves as the Employer Branding Executive.
Setelah sambutan dan perkenalan dari perwakilan Paragon, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan sharing mengenai direktorat yang terdapat di PT Paragon. Penjelasan ini ditujukan supaya teman-teman mahasiswa mengetahui bidang apa saja dan peluang tim apa saja yang terdapat di PT Paragon, sehingga ketika mereka ingin mendaftar magang ataupun bekerja setelah lulus, mereka sudah mengetahui divisi mana yang diinginkan.
After the welcome remarks and introduction from the Paragon representatives, the activity proceeded with a sharing session about the directorates within PT Paragon. This explanation aimed to provide fellow students with information about the various fields and team opportunities available at PT Paragon. This way, when they consider applying for internships or employment after graduation, they already have an understanding of which division they are interested in.
Setelah sharing yang diberikan, peserta diberikan kesempatan untuk bertanya. Banyak peserta yang terlihat antusias untuk bertanya. Namun dikarenakan waktu yang terbatas, hanya dipilih 2 orang untuk menyampaikan pertanyaan dan peserta lainnya yang belum mendapatkan kesempatan dapat menyampaikan pertanyaannya di akhir acara maupun secara langsung kepada tim Paragon melalui kontak yang diberikan. Kepada teman-teman yang bertanya dan beruntung dalam kegiatan quiz, diberikan merchandise khusus dari PT Paragon.
After the presentation, participants were given the opportunity to ask questions. Many participants seemed enthusiastic to inquire. However, due to the limited time, only 2 individuals were selected to pose questions, and the remaining participants who did not get a chance were encouraged to ask their questions either at the end of the event or directly to the Paragon team through the provided contact information. Participants who asked questions and those who were fortunate in the quiz activity were given special merchandise from PT Paragon.
Acara dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan Company Tour. Mahasiswa diajak berkeliling gedung PT Paragon dan melihat langsung suasana kerja di Paragon. Mahasiswa juga diberikan kesempatan untuk bertanya selama kegiatan Company Tour dilaksanakan.
Tujuan akhir sebelum kembali dari kegiatan Company Tour yaitu Paragon Store, dimana teman-teman mahasiswa diberikan kesempatan untuk melihat dan berbelanja produk dari PT Paragon dengan harga diskon khusus untuk hari itu saja selama kegiatan Company Visit.
Kegiatan Company Visit ini dapat berjalan lancar tanpa ada gangguan yang berarti sampai akhir dan diikuti oleh 35 peserta yang terdiri atas mahasiswa UI dari beberapa fakultas. Peserta yang hadir mayoritas merupakan mahasiswa dari FISIP, namun terdapat pula mahasiswa dari fakultas lain, seperti FH, SKSG, FIB, Vokasi, FPSI, FIA dan FMIPA. Dengan kegiatan yang sangat informatif ini diharapkan dapat memberikan banyak manfaat bagi seluruh pihak.
The Company Visit activity proceeded smoothly without significant disruptions until the end and was attended by 35 participants, consisting of UI students from various faculties. The majority of attendees were students from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), but there were also students from other faculties, such as the Faculty of Law (FH), Faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences (SKSG), Faculty of Humanities (FIB), Vocational School (Vokasi), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences for International Relations (FPSI), Faculty of Economics (FIA), and Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA). With this highly informative activity, it is hoped that it will provide many benefits to all parties involved.
