Kearney is looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual to join the Southeast Asia operations as a Junior Accountant (12 months contract).
Job Summary Reporting to Accountant based in Jakarta, the Junior Accountant is responsible for the assisting our Jakarta Accountant in handling all accounting duties for the Indonesia operations, and will work closely with the Finance team based in Singapore.
Educational Background and Professional Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent in professional accounting qualifications;
At least 2 years of relevant experience in Accounting/ Finance
Experience in audit from a Public Accounting firm is highly preferred;
Candidate with tax exposure will be an advantage.
Skills Profile
Excellent Microsoft Office skills with advanced Excel a particular requirement – proficiency in using pivot tables, v-lookup functions, filtering and formulas;
Good command of verbal and written Bahasa Indonesia and English;
Able to multi-task, work well independently and under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with SAP will be an advantage
Principal Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly accounts including managing Accounts Payable and Receivable systems;
Verify expense claims/vendor claims and handle payment processing;
Prepare Client invoices, assist in completion of Client Acceptance Report, Purchase Orders and follow up on client payments;
Assist in monthly and yearly tax requirements including preparation of reporting for VAT Out/VAT In and preparing Withholding Tax (collate Bukti Potong) to Vendor and from Client;
Prepare inter-company billings, other transactional processing and assisting in reconciliation;
Assist the Accountant and Finance Manager in ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Proposal Analyst (Contractor)
Kearney is looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual to join the Southeast Asia (SEA) operations as a Proposal Analyst. This position requires confident communication and a tenacious & diligent individual; someone who can work autonomously and independently day-to-day, while working virtually with SEA internal staff and the wider global staff.
Contract basis for 6 months with the potential to extend to 12 months, subject to performance.
Job Responsibilities :
Proposal Support
Ensure timely and accurate response to the proposal; i.e. preparation of administrative documents, collect necessary documents internally to complete all aspects of the proposal, and keep track of the deadline.
Work closely with internal staff and superiors in SEA and all around the world to collect information needed for proposal submission.
Communicate clear instruction and schedule to staff and diligently follow up gathering the information needed.
Manage multiple tasks to ensure full completion of the requirements for submission before the deadline.
CRM Data Management
Collaboratively work with administrative assistants in SEA to gather information effectively;
Work closely with internal staff and superiors in SEA to maintain data integrity periodically.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, accounting, finance, or engineering.
0-1 year of organizational experience, preferably in administration, business development, business analysis, or marketing.
Experience working and collaborating virtually, especially with internal superiors.
Experience working with deadline-based projects.
Exposure in working with BUMN (state-owned enterprises) is a plus.
Familiarity with CRM is a plus.
