GSI Lab adalah gerakan solidaritas dan kolaborasi bersama yang diinisiasi oleh Indika Foundation dalam rangka membantu Pemerintah Indonesia, khususnya Gugus Tugas Percepatan Penanganan COVID-19. Gerakan ini melahirkan sebuah inisiatif untuk membangun sebuah laboratorium untuk pengetesan COVID-19. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas tes PCR secara nasional dan masif. Melalui GSI Lab, kami ingin menunjukkan rasa solidaritas dan semangat gotong-royong anak bangsa, sambil terus berusaha untuk menginspirasi bahkan mengajak seluruh elemen bangsa untuk berpartisipasi mendukung gerakan ini.
 

Lab Technician

Job Description
  1. Operate automatic instruments and production lines to complete sample laboratory testing tasks such as Covid-19 sample inactivation nucleic acid extraction, reagent preparation and operate QPCR machine.
  2. Responsible for daily working records and regular filing.
  3. Responsible for completing laboratory tasks, delivering data results and completing daily record in a timely manner.
  4. Ensure strict operation in accordance with SOPs and be responsible for the safety of the laboratory environment, individuals and samples.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Operate automatic instruments and production lines to complete sample laboratory testing tasks such as Covid-19 sample inactivation nucleic acid extraction, reagent preparation and operate QPCR machine.
  2. Responsible for daily working records and regular filing.
  3. Routine maintenance of automated production lines and instruments.
  4. Responsible for basic trouble shooting regarding technical issues in experiment process.
  5. Timely feedback the problems occurred in the experimental process and analyze the causes of the problems and propose solutions.
  6. Understand operational excellence principles, including lean, 5S and improvement, which can be applied flexibly in lab process.
  7. Participate in optimization of laboratory experiment process and wring SOPs.
  8. Assume other duties as required.

Qualification :
  1. Is able to work shifts and overtime.
  2. Have good communication skills and team spirit.
  3. Can follow rules and regulations of the biological library and accept the arrangement by superiors.
  4. Can work under extreme pressure.
  5. Experience in sample management, nucleus acid preparation and other related laboratory experiments is preferred.
  6. Experience in CAP or ISO15189 certified laboratory is preferred.
  7. Experience in automated workstation system and QPCR machine is preferred.
  8. Qualified clinical medical laboratory technician is preferred.
  9. Bachelor’s degree or above in biomedicine, biotechnology, bioengineering and other related majors is preferred.
  10. Minimum 1 year of laboratory technician experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
  11. Preferably having STR - ATLM Certification (Surat Tanda Registrasi - Ahli Teknologi Lab Medis).
  12. Willing to undergo the hiring and onboarding process during Eid al-Fitr period.
  13. Can start working immediately.

Lab Coordinator

Job Description :
  1. Implement the production schedule, program and process, and complete the production plan;
  2. Assisted in improving SOP documents of production process, implemented quality system and production procedures, and ensured product quality;
  3. Responsible for establishing laboratory quality management system and quality assurance system;
  4. Put forward suggestions for improvement of specifications and operating standards of products, raw materials and processed products;
  5. Responsible for the arrangement and management of laboratory personnel, daily maintenance and normal use of laboratory equipment;
  6. Participate in the formulation of related procedures and regulations of the laboratory and qualifications.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. To train lab technicians and assistants on the correct use of lab equipment, in addition to mentoring and disciplining lab staff.
  2. Make sure the lab technicians to follow industry standards and safety regulations for handling and disposing of test samples.
  3. Responsible for purchasing lab supplies or preparing ordering lists.

Qualification:
  1. Master’s degree or above in biomedicine, biotechnology, bioengineering and other related majors.
  2. Minimum 5 years of laboratory technician experience.
  3. More than 3 years experience in PCR and other related laboratory testing management.
  4. Can serve as a trainer in the training system, produce courseware, train and evaluate Lab technicians.
  5. Familiar with relevant laboratory skills, understand relevant laws and regulations of the laboratory and quality management standards.
  6. Good planning, organizing, learning and communication skills are needed.
  7. Experience in CAP or ISO15189 certified laboratory is needed.
  8. Experience in PCR workflow, with PCR certificate is needed.

Laboratory Director Assistant

Job Description:
  1. Assist the primary investigators and to coordinate the project implementation and management, including day-to-day management of staff, execution of all phases, reporting and problem solving for the full length of the project. You will be responsible for training field staff, developing user manuals, and ensuring stakeholder engagement.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and manage relationships with partner organisations and technical advisers, including regularly stakeholder meetings, to collect and communicate study requirements, milestones and problems in the field;
  2. Support local level health and education institution managers and healthcare workers to implement activities and design monitoring & evaluation (M&E) of activities, collection of data against indicators, analysis of information to build reports, and facilitates partner organisation capacity building in M&E;
  3. Provide follow up support in the field to partner organisations as required and supervise the work of the project officers, manage work plans and help build their capacity; and,
  4. Oversee financial administrative and logistical resources and execute project budgets to the highest level of financial accountability and ensure input to reports and milestones are completed on time to the required standard.
 
Qualification:
  1. Postgraduate qualifications in public health or related discipline (pref. Master Degree).
  2. Experience working in epidemiology research is desirable and demonstrated experience in quantitative data analysis, including the use of statistical packages (e.g. Stata, SAS).
  3. Strong managerial experience, including demonstrated administrative and organisational skills.
  4. Demonstrated analytical, critical appraisal and problem-solving skills.
  5. Strong computer and database skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  6. Attention to detail and understand the importance of producing quality data.
  7. Effective communication skills.
  8. Report writing skills – fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  9. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  10. Availability to travel internationally for extended periods of time (1-2 weeks).

Logistic Assistant


Job Description :
  1. The Logistics Assistant will be responsible for receiving and unpacking parcels, completing relevant documentation, and dispatching stock. You should also record and report breakages, major spills, and contaminations.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Receiving and checking deliveries to ensure that the correct amount and type of stock is delivered.
  2. Signing delivery notes upon receipt of shipments.
  3. Heeding notes about appropriate procedures for handling stock, particularly when fragile.
  4. Unpacking items and arranging these on shelves, if needed.
  5. Preparing our clients' orders by gathering and loading stock.
  6. Ensuring that the facility remains clean, sanitary, and well-organized.

Qualification :

Job Description
  1. Develop data analysis algorithms and scripts for reporting, performance monitoring, quality control and intervention impact for research and implementation /activities to get insight and trends from the data collected and identify areas of improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Data Analysis
  2. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports, and provide validation of analyses.
  3. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  4. Create scripts and documentation for all processes, with code and scripts being well documented and with accompanying manuals. Such scripts must be created in a statistical package such as SAS, Stata, R or SPSS, with strong preference being for SAS or R.
  5. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases / data systems.
  6. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  7. Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code and performance problems.
  8. Liase with management, science, and tech teams to prioritize area of improvements and information needs.
  9. Produce research findings/products in manuscripts for publication.
  10. Coordination and Communication
  11. Responsible in doing the daily report of activities completed and targets achieved to the Senior Research Officer as requested.
  12. Responsible in presenting the data insights and trends in weekly basis to the whole team.
  13. Responsible in doing the accurate, timely and rapid reports verbally and in writing of the problems on the data found to the Senior Research Officer.
  14. Responsible to attend the weekly meeting at the office to report and evaluate the previous week’s work.

Qualification :
  1. Master's degree in data science, data analasis, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
  2. 2 years of data analysis and report development experience.
  3. Ability to organise, plan, and prioritise assignments within multiple projects, and perform difficult analytical tasks.

Procurement Assistant

Job Description :

  1. Work involves initiating purchase requests and keeping track of the stages through which each order is routed until receipt and payment. Work also involves shipping and receiving responsibilities for materials purchased including filing damage claims and shipping out materials being returned for various reasons.

  1. Sourcing and manage suppliers and subcontractors.
  2. Must keep reagents on hand at all times, and keep equipment and supplies maintained to prevent shortages and stockouts.

Head of Lab Operation Assistant

Deskripsi Pekerjaan:
  1. Head of Lab Operation Assistant reports to the Head of Lab Operation. Under limited supervision, the Head of Lab Operation Assistant is responsible for organizing tasks, work flow, evaluating and solving technical issues in specialty areas, problems of specimen collection and processing. This role interacts with the scientific/lab director and coordinator of the Lab to establish procedures and policies.
  2. Peran dan Tanggung Jawab:

Sample Receptionist

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Take receipt of sample or other deliveries.
  2. Check and process payment from client.
  3. Sort and distribute sample, post and faxes in a timely manner.
  4. Greet and ‘sign in’ all visitors to the laboratory and notify the relevant laboratory personnel.
  5. Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly.
  6. Report faults or issues occurring with the laboratory to the relevant department and liaise closely with them until the situation has been rectified.
  7. Update departmental telephone and fire lists as required and ensure they are available on the quality management system.
