On October 17, 2019, the UI Career Development Center in collaboration with FWD Life Indonesia held a Career Talk Activity "Passion or Penny?" at the UI Depok Campus Assembly Hall Building. The activity was held from 12.30 to 16.30. When this activity was carried out, UI students were entering the 2019-2020 Odd Semester Middle Exam period. Even though they were in an exam condition, it did not reduce the enthusiasm of students to attend this activity.

This activity was opened by Drs. Erwin Nurdin, M.Si, as Director of Career Development and Alumni Relations and was attended by UI students and alumni from various faculties and various generations, as well as students from other universities. With the theme "Passion or Penny?", This career talk held a sharing session by the Chiefs of FWD Life and asked questions about their stories of getting both and how they joined one of the fastest-growing insurance companies in Indonesia. In addition, this career talk also shares knowledge about how to develop a career according to your passion and celebrate living.

This time the Career Talk material was divided into 2 sessions. The first session was delivered by Mr. Ade Bungsu (Director, Chief Product & Syariah, and UI Alumni) and Mrs. Maika Randini (Chief Marketing Officer, and UI Alumni). Then in the second session, Sister Yovita Hamdani (Author, Traveler, and Insurance Agent) and Brother Mada Aryanugraha (Financial Advisor). At each material presentation session, participants were given the opportunity to ask questions about the material that had been delivered.

This activity was attended by 432 participants consisting of UI students, UI alumni, and students from other universities. In addition to providing material explanations, FWD Life Indonesia also opened several booths filled by several merchant partners of FWD Life Indonesia. This event was very lively and very interactive, as seen by the number of participants who asked questions during the question and answer session and participants who visited the booths that had been provided during the merchant session.
