Basic Tourism HR Training 



The Career Development Center of the University of Indonesia in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia held a Goes To Campus Basic Training of Tourism for Human Resources at the University of Indonesia. This activity aims to provide knowledge as well as basic training for students and graduates on tourism. This activity is very important considering that Indonesia is a rich archipelago and has enormous tourism potential. 



This activity is held on:

Day, date: Monday, May 13, 2019

Time: 08.00-13.00 WIB

Place: Gedug Convention Hall, UI Depok Campus


With Speaker:

 Dr. Wisnu Bawa Tarunajaya, SE. Topic: Policy Directions for National Tourism Human Resources Development

 H. Shahlan RAsyidi, S.E., M.M. Topic: Policy Directions for the Development of Human Resources in Bogor Regional Tourism

 Dr. Arif Satria, SP., M.Si. Topic: The Role of Students as Agents of Change in Tourism Development

 Denny Farabi. Topic: Excellent Service and Sapta Pesona for Students 



This activity is FREE for UI students and alumni as well as the general public and for participants will be given:

-       T shirts

- Goodie Bag

- Flash Disk

- Certificate

- Transportation costs (Rp. 100.000, - / person)

- Consumption to break the fast


This activity was opened by Drs. Erwin Nurdin, M.Si as Director of Career Development & Alumni Relations at the University of Indonesia. This activity was attended by 650 participants, both students and UI alumni, who came from various faculties and generations as well as some non-UI students. 




This activity is very useful for students in addition to basic knowledge about career prospects and tourism business in Indonesia, it is also useful for knowledge about the importance of taking part in protecting the area where each one lives both as a place to live and as a state asset that can be developed in order to grow regional potential, especially tourism potential. 



In terms of this training, it was explained that the government really needs the participation of the community, especially students in maintaining and developing tourism potential in their respective areas.
